Your patient. Our night shift.
More than 300 Orange County veterinarians send us their patients when they close. We were founded by 41 of you in 1975, and we still work as your overnight team: we take care of tonight, and we send them back to you.

Three ways to send a patient over.
Whichever is easiest at closing time. Forgot your portal login? Call either hospital and we’ll sort it out in a minute.
Referral portal
Upload records and notes, and track your patient through discharge. Every note, lab and image is there by morning.
Ambulance transfer
For skilled transport or oxygen on the way, call Animal Ambulance of Southern California at 866-473-8911. We’re a priority destination.
Overnight care your clients can say yes to.
For a patient you’ve already examined and started treating, we waive the exam fee and cut hospitalization in half. Typical overnight or weekend care runs $450 to $750 a day. The attending doctor reviews your records and gives the client a detailed quote.
Injections, oral medications, oxygen, diagnostics and surgery are available at additional cost.

We always do what the family vets need from us.
Fullerton’s family vets told us they’d rather not squeeze daytime emergencies between appointments. So we opened around the clock. Garden Grove covers every weeknight, weekend and holiday, the way it has since 1975.
When your patient goes home, their records, X‑rays and results come straight to you, and the client is sent back to you for follow‑up care.
