Our team

The people who’ll be with your pet tonight.

About 60 people across two hospitals. Many have been here ten years or more. All of them chose emergency medicine, and would rather be here at 2am with your pet than anywhere else.

Medical director

Jenny Hoose, DVM, DACVECC

Board certified in emergency and critical care

Dr. Hoose leads our medicine at both hospitals. Few emergency hospitals outside specialty centers have a criticalist on staff. She teaches our team the why, not just the what, and family vets across Orange County call her for free consults on their hardest cases.

Technicians, assistants and client care

A registered tech on every shift.

Plenty of hospitals can’t staff registered veterinary technicians every night. We do, around the clock, and we pay our whole team to keep earning certifications.

To protect their privacy, our support team goes by first names only, here and in the hospital.
